Analogic photos and videos.
More than 500 analogic photographs have been selected from the archive to date (2012). Since 6 years I have been collecting digital photos and videos with a digital compact camara too.
The numerous images produced come together in an archive that becomes significant as both the container of the images and as the content of the message. The project is based on the belief that taking photographs coincides with the creation of an archive of experiences in which new images are continually added, thus leading the producer and the users to perpetually reorganize the corpus, to come up with new combinations and constantly reconsider the work as a whole. This process is born from a specific relationship: it brings to mind not only the memory of whoever has taken the photo, but also of whoever sees them. The archive stimulates these processes of collective and personal memory and transforms the perception of our surroundings.
